Since my college days, I have had a fascination with the artist, Georgia O’Keeffe. Already an accomplished artist, O’Keeffe moved from New York to New Mexico after visiting and becoming enamored by the place during the 1940s. I get it, the landscapes are breathtaking and the colors of the mountains change constantly depending on the season or time of day. Here are just a few shots from my day trip.
I know that I am fortunate to call one of my work offices New Mexico. We accomplished so much this week getting ready for open enrollment 2016 for the health plans. I enjoy working with my team, and not a bad backdrop for work either.
I decided to visit one of my favorite places for some much needed artistic and urban flavor. Last night was the first play on Broadway: Forest Whitaker in Hughie by Eugene O’Niell. See it before it closes at the end of this month.
I really appreciate the opportunity to work in my New Mexico market. Truly, it makes me think I could live here!! #BEAUTIFUL

As much as I love to travel, there’s nothing more special than visiting my hometown in Texas for a few hours. And the icing on the cake… getting to catch up with my sister and fellow “Dreamer”.
I found a new chocolatier on the Plaza in Santa Fe, New Mexkco. Chocolate de Santa Fe!! The taste is as amazing as the look and texture of the chocolate.
DAY 1
I’m at the top of SKY Costanera! This place is an amazing view of Santiago, Chile. I’m at the top of the tallest building in South America. It’s basically a mall so I’m heading to the MAC makeup counter downstairs.
DAY 2
With the Marketing Team and touring facility in Chile.

Saturday adventure! A couple of non skiing posers heading to a ski lift in the Andes Mountains, lol!
DAY 4
The last day in Santiago, Chile my cousin and I took the subway downtown to get our museum fix, and we happened upon Señor de los Milagros “Lord of Miracles” Festival.
On our way to the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute gala tonight in Washington, D.C. Guest speakers, President Barack Obama and Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton. Perks of the job!
On Wednesday, we arrived in New York, another town where I have lived and miss more than I can say. As part of my birthday week, some friends decided to help me take my town back. My birthday is 9/11 and I have not visited New York on my birthday since the day became something else here. Since Fashion Week falls during my birthday celebration, the timing just seemed right.
