This past May my marketing team and I joined an organization that hires mentally challenged individuals who seed and plant flowers and vegetables for use by Farm to Fork local restaurants. One of our volunteer projects was to plant a sunflower dial. I recently had a chance to return to see the results. AMAZING!!!
El Morro is located on an ancient east-west trail in Western New Mexico. The main feature is a great sandstone promontory with a pool of water at its base.
I saw this old phone at the loading dock of the corporate office where I work. The building dates back to the 70s, but this phone is really my first proof of it’s history and legacy.
The first photo is a volcano that erupted repeatedly creating Mt. Taylor which is located off Interstate 40 near Grants, New Mexico. Below the mountain are miles of lava beds that show the random flow and distance the lava traveled. Mt. Taylor is a Stratovolcano and was active between 3 and 1.5 million years ago.

One of the ironies of driving through West Texas is the patterns of industry. Growing alongside the corn and wheat are these massive windmills refusing to be ignored.
When traveling through West Texas this old house kept calling me. Pulling me actually. I finally had to pull over and grab a shot so that I could keep a piece of her with me. #mylens
I live for off the road adventures and my latest trek was to Shiprock, New Mexico. I had heard that it was a must see place in the state so I’m thrilled to have seen this site.
