Thanking God for another 365 days around the sun! Thankful for His grace in turning COVID work from home and quarantine lemons into lemonade. Wrapping up my second book which is loosely based on lifelong friendships with my #Dreamers – Charolette, Diana, Freida, Pamela and Janice, and my cousin and BFF, Timothy.
TEASER: The Rancher in Stilettos is a romantic novel based on a group of six black women whose relationship spans their entire lives. They met as children in the small Texas town where they grew up and forged a bond that would last a lifetime. Though not biological, “The Dreamers” are sisters in every sense of the word, and when life struggles present themselves, the women form their “Dream Circle” of protection against outside forces. You can’t stereotype Zaide Grace and her friends. Try to put “The Dreamers” in a box and they will decorate it with every color and invite the world in for a tour. #therancherinstilettos #leadwithlove #nofear
Starting my travels this year in beautiful Costa Rica! First time in this amazing Central American country, but it’s like visiting several places at once. The rainforest is epic, the beaches are spectacular and far up in the mountains at La Paz Waterfalls Resort, the climate actually changes to rain and cold. But the view from our spa was amazing!
Late Post: A few weeks ago one of my sheroes and role models turned 75 and of course it was a Virgo Events & Productions affair! So excited to share in my cousin Emma Rodgers’ special day and let her know how amazing she is to our family and community.
This past May my marketing team and I joined an organization that hires mentally challenged individuals who seed and plant flowers and vegetables for use by Farm to Fork local restaurants. One of our volunteer projects was to plant a sunflower dial. I recently had a chance to return to see the results. AMAZING!!!
