Matthew 17:20
He replied, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. “
I consider myself a fearless person. But here is a TenaciousM Truth! Fearlessness takes practice. It is easy to swerve back into a place of lost courage and diminished confidence, especially when we are bombarded with signs (and people) reminding us to be careful and to watch out for danger. Perhaps the people who give this advice have never experienced the joy that comes from stepping out on faith in God and yourself and realizing the dream. If they had, they too would be fearless encouragers.
My Dad’s advice to me when I first started to drive on my own: “Remember, you’re never lost as long as you’re in the world.” That message didn’t seem to resonate 30 miles from our home. But halfway around the world, oh so big! So I have lived a life that continually forces me outside my comfort zone, which in reality, is where life really begins.
Be fearless. Have faith. Amaze yourself. And, by all means, avoid the swerve.
