Standing On Their Shoulders- Langston Hughes

Reading the poetry of Langston Hughes encouraged my own writing. Hughes died on this day in 1967 at the age of 65 (Feb 1, 1902 – May 22, 1967).

  1. Wish he was still here to hand over my stories for safe keeping. Thanks for this post and the reminder; I think I am going to go revisit his poetry.
